Being Announced MYOB Partners of the Year 2013
Pam Pitt and I recently spent a few days in Sydney attending the MYOB Partner Connection conference (and maybe a little for the shopping!!)
The highlight of the conference was the Gala Dinner. MYOB farewelled last year’s MYOB partner of the year – Amanda Linton of Freedom Connect Bookkeeping. In amazing fashion, her date also came on stage and wowed the audience by going down on one knee and proposing!! Fortunately, for the success of the night, Amanda accepted his proposal.
It was a very hard act to follow for the rest of the reward recipients but when Tim Reed (MYOB CEO) announced that 2 Peas had won a double whammy – National Top Sales and Partners of the Year 2013 awards – we were both thrilled from head to new shoes!! To this day neither of us remember what they said in our acceptance speeches. With all the awards and prizes, we were hit at the airport with excess luggage fees (but maybe the shopping contributed just slightly!) .
As Partners of the Year, we’re excited about the journey to come over the next year, particularly as SMEs continue to adopt cloud accounting at a rapid rate.
